Basketball Recap: Tiverton Falls Despite Big Games from John Mello and Nando D'eramo

Tiverton lost against Cranston West back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tiverton Tigers lost 51-27 to the Cranston West Falcons. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Nando D'Eramo and John Mello certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. D'Eramo posted seven points, while Mello earned seven points.

Tiverton's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17-1. As for Cranston West, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tiverton won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Woonsocket at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tiverton is facing Woonsocket at the right time seeing as Woonsocket is stuck on an 18-game losing streak. As for Cranston West, they will face off against St. Raphael Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
