Volleyball Recap: Calhoun Academy Comes Up Short

Calhoun Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Colleton Prep Academy War Hawks, falling 3-0. The Cavaliers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the War Hawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-16, 25-13.

Calhoun Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Colleton Prep Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-10-1 record this season.

Calhoun Academy will be playing at home against Patrick Henry Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Colleton Prep Academy, they will face off against St. John's Christian Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
