Basketball Recap: Edison Private Takes a Loss

Edison Private was the 59-51 winner over Miami Union Academy when they last played one another on January 10th, but their luck changed this time around. The Edison Private Eagles fell 48-41 to the Miami Union Academy Jaguars on Friday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Miami Union Academy was led to victory by Jadon Savizon and Chase Remmings. Savizon posted 11 points along with five assists and three steals, while Remmings put up 11 points and six steals. Savizon is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played. Fabrice Dorgile was another key player, putting up nine points.

Edison Private's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Miami Union Academy, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Edison Private is taking a road trip to challenge LaProgresiva Presbyterian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Edison Private is facing LaProgresiva Presbyterian at the right time seeing as LaProgresiva Presbyterian is stuck on a four-game losing streak. Miami Union Academy has already played their next contest (against SEED of Miami), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
