Soccer Game Preview: Mission Hills vs. Westview

The Mission Hills Grizzlies will square off against the Westview Wolverines at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Mission Hills will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

Mission Hills' defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on San Marcos with a sharp 3-0 win. Considering the Grizzlies have won six contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Westview, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Torrey Pines by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The Wolverines found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: four Westview players were handed yellow cards.

Emiliano Suarez and Laica Yasukwa scored both of Westview's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Mission Hills' victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-0-1. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four games. As for Westview, their win bumped their record up to 4-2-3.
