Basketball Recap: Lago Vista Extends Road Winning Streak to Three

If Austin Achieve wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Lago Vista, they should've done a better job of containing Henry Sisemore. The Lago Vista Vikings claimed a resounding 67-16 victory over the Austin Achieve Polar Bears thanks in part to Sisemore, who dropped a double-double with 24 points and ten boards. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Hayden Moore was another key player, going 5-for-7 to rack up 15 points. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in shooting accuracy (71%).

Lago Vista pushed their record up to 27-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.7 points over those games. As for Austin Achieve, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-18.

Looking ahead, Lago Vista will square off against Canyon Lake at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Canyon Lake has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Austin Achieve does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
