Football Recap: Wayland Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wayland lost against Forest Hills Eastern back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Wildcats fell 27-16 to the Hawks. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 201st, while the Hawks are ranked 81st).

Wayland is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3. As for Forest Hills Eastern, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wayland will take on rival Hamilton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Forest Hills Eastern is set to challenge their familiar foe Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
