Volleyball Game Preview: Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes vs. Rantoul Eagles + How To Watch

The Georgetown-Ridge Farm Buffaloes will venture away from home to take on the Rantoul Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Georgetown-Ridge Farm is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 11 games.

If Schlarman wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Georgetown-Ridge Farm, they should've done a better job of containing Madi Spesard. The Buffaloes came out on top against the Hilltoppers by a score of 2-0 on Thursday with plenty of help from Spesard, who had 15 digs and two assists. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

While Georgetown-Ridge Farm won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Rantoul unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-match winning streak on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lexington.

Rantoul's loss dropped their record down to 14-12. As for Georgetown-Ridge Farm, their win bumped their record up to 16-4.

Georgetown-Ridge Farm beat Rantoul 2-0 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Buffaloes since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
