Softball Recap: Xavier Has No Trouble Against Two Rivers

Xavier owes their pitching crew a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over the Two Rivers Purple Raiders. The matchup marked the Hawks' most dominant win of the season so far.

Xavier's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Abby Ourada, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run. That run was Ourada's first of the season.

Xavier was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

The win made it two in a row for Xavier and bumps their season record up to 5-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Two Rivers, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Xavier will venture away from home to challenge Shawano Community at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Two Rivers, they will host Chilton at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
