Basketball Recap: Evergreen Comes Up Short

Evergreen was the 61-49 winner over Clay when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Evergreen Vikings came up short against the Clay Eagles on Saturday, falling 84-63.

Evergreen's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Clay, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Evergreen will head out to square off against Holgate at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Evergreen is facing Holgate at the right time seeing as Holgate is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Clay, they will be home for the holidays to greet Springfield at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
