Warren Township is 9-1 against Mundelein since January of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. On Sunday, Warren Township made easy work of Thornton and carried off a 67-46 victory. Given the Blue Devils' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 33rd, while the Wildcats are ranked 263rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Mundelein had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 50-45 win over Libertyville on Friday.

Warren Township's victory bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Mundelein, their win bumped their record up to 9-15.

Warren Township strolled past Mundelein when the teams last played back in January by a score of 74-60. Will Warren Township repeat their success, or does Mundelein have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
