Soccer Recap: Lakeview Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Lakeview was a bit more limited in their matchup on Thursday. They lost 5-1 to Northwest. Lakeview hasn't had much luck with Northwest recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Lakeview's goal came courtesy of Adan Ramirez, which was the first he's scored this season.

Lakeview's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Northwest, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lakeview will square off against rival Schuyler at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northwest is set to face off against their familiar foe Scottsbluff at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
