Basketball Recap: Sterling Comes Up Short

Sterling suffered their biggest loss since December 17, 2024 on Friday. They came up short against the Barbers Hill Eagles, falling 80-56. The Rangers haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Sterling's record now sits at 17-11. As for Barbers Hill, they pushed their record up to 17-9 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

Sterling didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 63-41 defeat against Beaumont United on the 20th. As for Barbers Hill, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 67-62 loss against Port Arthur Memorial on the 18th.
