Volleyball Recap: Helix Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Helix had won three straight games and Nathan Steele did his part to make it four on Tuesday. The Helix Highlanders put the hurt on the Grossmont Foothillers with a sharp 3-0 win for which the team can thank Steele, who had 12 digs and three aces. He has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more digs the last four times he's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-15, 25-21.

Helix now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Grossmont, they are on an 18-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Helix will challenge High Tech Mesa at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Grossmont, they will face off against Santana at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
