Basic had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Virgin Valley Bulldogs.

Basic was led to victory by Blake Bevell and Tyrus Worley. Bevell had eight digs and two assists, while Worley had two assists. That's the most digs Bevell has posted over his last five matches. Reiff Brunner also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Basic's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Virgin Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-10.

Basic didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Desert Oasis on the 28th. As for Virgin Valley, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Sweetwater on the 28th.
