Football Game Preview: Trinity Shamrocks vs. West Perry Mustangs

The Trinity Shamrocks will take on the West Perry Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Trinity comes in on five and West Perry on three.

On Friday, Trinity took their game with ease, bagging a 36-3 win over Boiling Springs. With that victory, the Shamrocks brought their scoring average up to 26.4 points per game.

Trinity's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Marcus Yeager with two sacks.

Meanwhile, West Perry earned a 24-17 win over Big Spring on Friday.

Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for West Perry, their win bumped their record up to 6-1.

Trinity barely slipped by West Perry in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 27-26. Will the Shamrocks repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
