Volleyball Game Preview: St. John Paul II Falcons vs. Good Hope Raiders

The St. John Paul II Falcons will face off against the Good Hope Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. John Paul II is coming into the match hot, having won their last 18 games.

St. John Paul II had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt West Limestone on Monday. The Falcons blew past the Wildcats 3-0. The Falcons not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 25th (when they won 3-0).

The match was exciting from start to finish, as two sets needed extra rallies to gain a two-point lead. The final score came out to 25-21, 26-24, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Good Hope suffered their biggest defeat since September 11th on Thursday. They came up short against West Point, falling 3-0.

Good Hope's loss dropped their record down to 21-16. As for St. John Paul II, their win bumped their record up to 25-11.

St. John Paul II couldn't quite get it done against Good Hope in their previous meeting back in October of 2015 as they fell 2-0. Can the Falcons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
