Soccer Game Preview: Skyline vs. Oakland

The Skyline Titans will venture away from home to challenge the Oakland Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Oakland took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Skyline, who comes in off a win.

While Skyline fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Wednesday's season opener. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Castlemont on Wednesday. The score was close at the half, but the Titans pulled away in the second half with two goals.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Oakland faced off against Fremont on Wednesday. Oakland lost 3-0 to Fremont. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 958th, while the Tigers are ranked 288th).
