Volleyball Recap: Wagner Takes a Loss

Wagner had lost nine straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 0-7 to make it ten. They lost 3-0 to the Alamo Heights Mules. The Thunderbirds were not able to make up for their defeat to the Mules from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

As for Alamo Heights, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-7. The match marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

Leading Alamo Heights to victory were Haley Reno and Ava Johnson. Reno had 20 assists, while Johnson had six digs and two assists. That's the most digs Johnson has posted since back in October of 2024.

After both having extra time off, Wagner and Boerne will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alamo Heights, they will take on Clemens in a tournament on Friday.
