Basketball Recap: Jackson Day Mariners vs. Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats

Jackson Day barely beat Sugar Creek Charter the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mariners blew past the Wildcats 73-52 on Tuesday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 46-18.

Jackson Day was led to victory by Alexander Hector-Davis and Malachi Lewis. Hector-Davis shot 55% from the field en route to 13 points and six steals, while Lewis went 6-for-15 to rack up 15 points. Abdul Ezeagu also deserves some recognition as he posted his first blocks of the season.

Jackson Day was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sugar Creek Charter only racked up eight.
