Basketball Recap: Twin Valley Bible Academy Starts Season with Loss on the Road

Twin Valley Bible Academy had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 41-34 to the Carlisle Christian Academy Knights on Thursday. The Pioneers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Knights apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Carlisle Christian Academy was led to victory by Brady Tuckey and Collin Wevodau. Tuckey posted 11 points, while Wevodau put up 11 points.

Carlisle Christian Academy's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Twin Valley Bible Academy will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Carlisle Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 31, 2025. Carlisle Christian Academy will also get a bit of a break before their next matchup: they'll face off against Varsity Opponent at 7:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
