Soccer Game Preview: Dayton vs. Yamhill-Carlton + How To Watch

The Dayton Pirates will head out to take on the Yamhill-Carlton Tigers at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.

Dayton will roll into the match after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any goals last Thursday, then bounced right back against Salem Academy on Tuesday. The Pirates blew past the Crusaders 6-1. The result was nothing new for Dayton, who have now won five contests by four goals or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, for the first time since back in September, Yamhill-Carlton was forced to settle for a draw on Thursday. They and Salem Academy finished up on equal footing with a 3-3 draw.

Dayton's win bumped their record up to 8-0-1. Yamhill-Carlton's draw makes their record 3-4-2 this season.

Everything went Dayton's way against Yamhill-Carlton in their previous matchup back in October of 2023, as Dayton made off with a 5-2 victory. Will the Pirates repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
