Volleyball Recap: North Plainfield Takes a Loss

North Plainfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Brunswick Vikings.

North Plainfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for South Brunswick, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Plainfield will face off against New Brunswick at 5:15 p.m. on Monday. As for South Brunswick, they will host Old Bridge at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The Knights will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
