St. John's/Tipton Catholic piles up the points against Stockton

In what's become a running theme this season, the St. John's/Tipton Catholic Blujays gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They really took it to Stockton for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-27 victory at home. With St. John's/Tipton Catholic ahead 36-11 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

St. John's/Tipton Catholic's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Edward Horinek led the charge by scoring 17 points along with three steals. Horinek hasn't dropped below 15 points for four straight games. Jacob Winkler was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.

St. John's/Tipton Catholic has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Stockton, their loss was their 19th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-15.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. John's/Tipton Catholic will take on Pike Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Pike Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Saturday. As for Stockton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Plainville on Tuesday.
