Basketball Recap: Shead Comes Up Short

If Shead was feeling good fresh off their 78-26 takedown of East Grand last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Shead Tigers fell 60-53 to the Woodland Dragons on Monday. The Tigers lost against the Dragons in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 69-29 score last time.

Shead now has a losing record at 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shead will venture away from home to square off against Searsport at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Woodland, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they will challenge Penobscot Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
