Basketball Recap: Dayton Comes Up Short

Dayton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Highlands Bluebirds, falling 85-45. The Greendevils were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bluebirds from their previous meeting back in January.

Dayton's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Highlands, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Dayton will be home for the holidays to greet Calvary Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Highlands and Oldham County will compete for holiday cheer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Highlands is facing Oldham County at the right time seeing as Oldham County is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
