Spring Creek is 1-9 against Lowry since May of 2022 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Spartans will face off against the Buckaroos at 3:00 p.m. Spring Creek is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.

Last Saturday, Spring Creek came up short against Elko and fell 10-5. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jessie Santistevan was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Lowry faced McQueen in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Buckaroos fell just short of the Lancers by a score of 7-6.

Lowry's defeat dropped their record down to 15-5. As for Spring Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.

Spring Creek couldn't quite get it done against Lowry in their previous matchup back in February as they fell 7-2. Can the Spartans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
