Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Archbishop Riordan couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Roosevelt Mustangs on Saturday, falling 80-60. The Crusaders' loss signaled the end of their 20-game winning streak.

Brayden Burries was his usual excellent self, shooting 4-for-6 from downtown and dropping a double-double with 44 points and 12 boards for Roosevelt. That makes it three consecutive games in which Burries has scored at least a third of Roosevelt's points. Myles Walker was another key player, putting up 15 points and three steals.

Archbishop Riordan's defeat dropped their record down to 29-2. As for Roosevelt, they pushed their record up to 35-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

As of now, neither Archbishop Riordan nor Roosevelt have any future games scheduled.
