Green Valley took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Southeast Career Tech, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Gators skirted past the Roadrunners 2-1. The game was the first time the Gators have beaten the Roadrunners on their court since October 4, 2018.

Daisy DeBoer paced Green Valley's offense, picking up six kills. DeBoer got some help from Clara Conrado and her 21 assists. Finally, Zah'Rai Francos kept Green Valley's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

The victory made it two in a row for Green Valley and bumps their season record up to 5-3. As for Southeast Career Tech, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 5-4 record.

Green Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Las Vegas on the 19th. As for Southeast Career Tech, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Rancho on the 21st.
