Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Keira Steger and Tatum Hanson Lead Warner to Victory

Warner waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Herreid/Selby Wolverines 3-0. That's more bragging rights for the Monarchs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Warner was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-16.

Warner was led to victory by Tatum Hanson and Keira Steger. Hanson had 12 assists and three aces, while Steger had ten digs and two assists. That's the most assists Steger has posted over her last 14 matchups.

Warner's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Herreid/Selby, their defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Warner will face off against Wolsey-Wessington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Herreid/Selby, they will square off against Gettysburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
