The Hornets haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Khloe Crotts made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
