Basketball Recap: Riverside Rams vs. Barack Obama School for Social Justice Lightning

Riverside played a tough contest on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 68-36 defeat at the hands of the Barack Obama School for Social Justice Lightning. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Lightning: they've now lost seven in a row.

Barack Obama School for Social Justice was led to victory by Adriel Roso and Eli Mitchell. Roso dropped a double-double with 14 points and 13 boards, while Mitchell went 8-for-19 en route to 21 points and seven rebounds. Those 13 rebounds gave Roso a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaiden Hunter, who posted two points and eight steals.

Riverside now has a losing record of 1-2.
