Football Game Preview: Pittsford vs. Vestaburg

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Pittsford. On Friday they take on Vestaburg at 7:30 PM. Pittsford don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

After flying high against Athens two weeks ago, Pittsford came back down to earth. Last Friday, Pittsford lost to Lenawee Christian by a decisive 7-24 margin. Pittsford's loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Vestaburg suffered a grim 8-32 defeat to Merrill. Vestaburg were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-20.

With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the win. Neither squad could put together much of an offensive attack, so expect every point to count.
