Football Recap: Foresthill Takes a Loss

The Foresthill Wildfires came up short against the Pioneer Patriots on Thursday and fell 19-6.

Brianna Miller threw for 160 yards and one touchdown. Maddy Marquez was her top target, picking up 79 receiving yards.

Foresthill's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Pioneer, they now also have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Foresthill will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Sacramento Adventist at 4:30 p.m. on September 8. As for Pioneer, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Davis Sr. at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
