Volleyball Recap: Los Altos Makes It Eight in a Row at Home

Los Altos took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Mountain View, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles skirted past the Spartans 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on three straight.

Los Altos was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 23-25, 22-25, 25-22, 15-11.

Liam Meyer paced Los Altos' offense, picking up 18 kills. Meyer got some help from Dexter Hatfield and his 61 assists. Finally, Reid Taylor kept Los Altos' defense grounded, leading the team with seven blocks.

Los Altos' win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4. As for Mountain View, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Los Altos wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Fremont on the 2nd. As for Mountain View, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Wilcox on the 2nd.
