Baseball Game Preview: El Capitan Eagles vs. St. Michael Cardinals

The El Capitan Eagles will face off against the St. Michael Cardinals at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for El Capitan and 13 for St. Michael dating back to last season.

El Capitan's last matchup with Milford could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Thursday. El Capitan lost 16-0 to Milford.

El Capitan saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kendall Hammon, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Another was Paul Woods, who got on base in both of his plate appearances with two stolen bases.

Meanwhile, St. Michael came up short against Valley on Wednesday, falling 20-9.

St. Michael's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for El Capitan, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.
