Volleyball Recap: McClatchy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

It was a proper cat-fight when McClatchy duked it out with West Park on Tuesday. The Lions came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 25-18.

McClatchy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for West Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

McClatchy and West Park should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Lions (ranked 387th) will meet Kennedy (ranked 938th) at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Park will challenge Antelope at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (81 vs. 1264).
