Soccer Game Preview: York Prep vs. Andrew Jackson

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times York Prep and York have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Monday. The Patriots fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 2-1.

The Volunteers got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Buford's zero. The victory continues a trend for Andrew Jackson in their matchups with Buford: they've now won seven in a row.

Andrew Jackson's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matchups. As for York Prep, they now have a losing record of 6-7-1.
