Soccer Recap: Carl Junction Takes a Loss

Carl Junction fought the good fight in their overtime game against Branson on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Pirates by a score of 2-1. Carl Junction were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Branson apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Carl Junction's goal came courtesy of Morgan Stauffer, who's now up to two this season.

Carl Junction's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Branson, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carl Junction will host Logan-Rogersville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Branson, they will face off against Blair Oaks at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
