Softball Recap: Dallastown Wildcats vs. New Oxford Colonials
Dallastown was the 12-7 winner over New Oxford when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Dallastown Wildcats fell victim to a rough 23-14 defeat at the hands of the New Oxford Colonials on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (13), Dallastown still had to take the loss.
Brooke Altland was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Peyton Keim, who scored three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
Dallastown now has a losing record at 4-5. As for New Oxford, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
