Football Recap: Ingleside Mustangs vs. La Feria Lions
Ingleside took care of business in their home opener on Friday (and then some). They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 27-0 win over the La Feria Lions.
Ingleside wouldn't let La Feria keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as Jordan Smith, Isaac Freeman, and Manuel Hinojosa picked up one apiece. Smith didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble and made four total tackles.
Ingleside will head out to challenge Aransas Pass at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for La Feria, they will venture away from home to take on Hidalgo at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. La Feria is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses dating back to last season.
