Recap: Bear Lake Bears vs. Malad Dragons

The Bear Lake Bears won the last time they faced the Malad Dragons, and things went their way on Thursday too. Bear Lake blew past Malad 66-38 at home. With that win, Bear Lake brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.

Bear Lake had a senior duo take command as Bryson Crane dropped a double-double on 27 points and ten rebounds and Christian Bush dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bush has scored all season. Taylor Roberts was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Bear Lake's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-10. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points per game. As for Malad, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost 11 of their last 13 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-16 record this season.

Bear Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Malad, they will head out on the road to face off against Aberdeen at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Aberdeen focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine last Tuesday.
