Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Stansbury). They breezed by the Gunnison Valley Bulldogs to the tune of 85-45 on Friday. The win was some much needed relief for the Stallions as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Stansbury's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-8. As for Gunnison Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stansbury won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Kanab at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Gunnison Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against Grand County at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Gunnison Valley is facing Grand County at the right time seeing as Grand County is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
