Basketball Game Preview: Ridgeline Falcons vs. Lewis & Clark Tigers

The Ridgeline Falcons will head out to face off against the Lewis & Clark Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Ridgeline is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Post Falls on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Ridgeline was outmatched by Post Falls and fell 68-29. The Falcons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-15.

Ridgeline's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Brayden Allen, who went 5 of 12 on his way to 15 points, and Caden Andreas, who posted eight points and three steals. Allen is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Meanwhile, Lewis & Clark was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 68-56 to North Central. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (55), the Tigers still had to take the loss.

Ridgeline now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Lewis & Clark, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Ridgeline lost to Lewis & Clark on the road by a decisive 60-46 margin in their previous matchup back in February. Can Ridgeline avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
