Blaine is 7-2 against Mt. Baker since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Borderites will be playing in front of their home fans against the Mountaineers at 4:30 p.m. Blaine's hitters haven't had much luck over their past seven matchups, but Tuesday's contest will give them a chance to turn things around.

While Blaine's victory against Sultan wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Borderites never let the Turks get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Wednesday. That's two games straight that the Borderites have won by just one run.

Meanwhile, Mt. Baker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 19-6 to Granite Falls.

Blaine now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Mt. Baker, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Everything went Blaine's way against Mt. Baker when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Blaine made off with a 15-0 victory. Do the Borderites have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mountaineers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
