Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Waynedale walked away with it. They came out on top against the Springfield Tigers by a score of 37-28 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Golden Bears, who have now won three matches in a row.

Waynedale's record is now 13-11. As for Springfield, their loss dropped their record down to 15-9.

Coming up, Waynedale will face off against Canton Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Canton Central Catholic will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Waynedale surely won't give up without a fight. Springfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
