Soccer Game Preview: Niles vs. Allegan + How To Watch

The Niles Vikings will face off against the Allegan Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Niles' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Niles' offense. They came up short against Edwardsburg on Wednesday, falling 5-0. While losing is never fun, Niles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 287th, while Edwardsburg are ranked 24th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Allegan, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They never let Lawton get on the board and left with a 5-0 victory on Monday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Allegan considering their one-goal performance the contest before.

Niles' defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for Allegan, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7-3.
