Soccer Recap: Lawrence County Comes Up Short on the Road Against Columbia Central

Lawrence County kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 7-1 to the Columbia Central Lions. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost five in a row.

The victory made it two in a row for Columbia Central and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Lawrence County take on the Fayetteville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Columbia Central, they will venture away from home to challenge Battle Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
