Kennedale is 6-1 against Venus since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Kennedale Wildcats will face off against the Venus Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Kennedale's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Wildcats on Friday. Kennedale fell 2-0 to Godley.

Meanwhile, Venus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Life Waxahachie, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 653rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 114th).

Venus' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Kennedale, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Everything went Kennedale's way against Venus in their previous matchup back in March of 2024, as Kennedale made off with a 4-1 win. Will Kennedale repeat their success, or does Venus have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
