Hopewell kept a clean sheet against Mallard Creek on Thursday. They were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Mavericks. Hopewell might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by four goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Mallard Creek from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Emily Buck led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Hopewell has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 68 goals over those 12 games. As for Mallard Creek, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4.

Hopewell and Mallard Creek will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Titans see the pitch they'll take on West Charlotte at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd. As for Mallard Creek, their break will end when they face North Mecklenburg at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
