Basketball Recap: Koshkonong Comes Up Short

Koshkonong was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They took a blow against the Fordland Eagles, falling 59-25. The matchup marked the Blue Jays' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Koshkonong's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Fordland, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season.

Coming up, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Blue Jays duke it out with the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Koshkonong is facing Naylor at the right time seeing as Naylor is stuck on a 15-game losing streak. As for Fordland, they will venture away from home to face off against Mountain Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
